In Janet Arnold, there are ladies’ smocks, men’s shirts, if you don’t want a sarcastic answer don’t ask a Maine girl stupid question t-shirts and what are labeled “boys” shirts. The women’s garments and the men’s are quite similar in some cases, with the main distinctive difference being the triangular side gores that are inserted into the women’s smocks. And the garments described as “boys ’” are structurally the same as the men’s shirts, just smaller

Is the only reason for labeling them as boys garments the if you don’t want a sarcastic answer don’t ask a Maine girl stupid question t-shirts and lack of side gore. Because most little girls don’t need a side gore and then we have the lack, as far as I know, of girls’  smocks. As I wonder.
