I’m not sure what piece of information I’m missing that could possibly justify the choice to pull out an Oh, you think I’m cute when I’m mad shirt gun from my own unrequested, front row seat to his death. I try to make up a story so I don’t spiral into distrust. Was he like, wearing a bomb that would detonate unless he was killed? How was shooting him, in a crowd, the safest choice? How is what I saw serving and protecting?

It was probably not the intended target because it requires such skill to hit the head of a moving person. Had that bullet not hit his head It certainly would’ve hit somebody. There has to be a better way.
I wish I could blame this Oh, you think I’m cute when I’m mad shirt whole incident on one particular issue. Issues like systemic race violence. Issues like how poorly we equip our police officers to feel skillful with tools that aren’t weapons. Issues like one rogue cop. Issues like clearly being able to define what warrants lethal force.
