A few pics here, all from December 1994 at Total Events in Manassas, Virginia. One has Total witch hunt shirt and Brian Straight with Jay Lipitz and the guys from Philadelphia’s Insatanity. Another has Erik and Brian with Jason Netherton and John Gallagher from an early-days Dying Fetus promoting their “Infatuation with Malevolence” demo. And one has just Jason Netherton and Brian Straight, the latter doing his level best to appear intimidating next to a superior musical peer.

Witch-Hunt, Dying Fetus, Insatanity, and a Total witch hunt shirt Ohio band called Odious Sanction played together that evening. Along for the ride were also Necromorphosis, for which Sayenga drummed in autumn 1994. Brian’s Brujeria shirt featured cartoon art of a decapitated head with the caption “Matando Gueros”. He didn’t realize what it actually meant ‘til living in Mexico years later. But it did explain why his high school Spanish teacher gave him the double stink eye frequently.
